Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions for reserving rooms at the Chamberlin Ole Forest Inn are to ensure that all of our guests have the best experience possible. If you have any questions or concerns about our policies, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Guests agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the owners of Chamberlin Ole Forest Inn and its representatives from all claims, disputes, litigation, judgments, costs, and attorney fees resulting from loss, damage or injury to guests and occupants, and licensees of guests. The Chamberlin Ole Forest Inn recommends that guests obtain and carry travel insurance to protect personal property. Guests or their personal property, including vehicles, are not insured by the property owners against loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, rain, water, criminal or negligent acts of others, or any other cause.

Our policies are subject to change at any time, and your reservation is an acceptance of these terms. Please read our policies before making your reservation.


Check-in and check-out times
Check-in time is after 2:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check out times are not available. A late check out fee of $25 will be billed to the card on file if you are not out by that time.

Cancellation policy
In the event that you should have to cancel, a 10 days notice prior to your arrival is required to receive a refund, minus the $20.00 cancellation/processing fee. Refunds will be made in the form of a gift certificate that is good for one year. If less than 10 days notice is given, your full deposit will be forfeited. There are no refunds on shortened stays.

Availability
We are open 11 months a year; we are closed for the full month of April for renovations.

Room rates
Room rates are subject to sales tax and room assessment and are subject to change without notice. Rates are based on one or two guests per room. There is an extra charge for extra quests. Our rooms cannot tolerate overcrowding. All room rates include a full guest breakfast served in our dining area on the main floor.

Groups
Groups should make reservations on an individual basis. If 4 or more rooms are reserved under 1 name, we require a 14 days notice for cancellation. Refunds will be made in the form a gift certificate good for one year. Advance deposit of the first nights stay is required for each room for the entire group.

Damages
You are expected to leave your room in as good a condition as it was given to you. Any damage or missing items caused by you or those affiliated to you to the property inside or outside of your room such as (but not limited to) carpet stains, soiled furnishings or linens, broken windows or appliances will be replaced or cleaned and billed to you via the credit card you have on file within 14 days of your departure.

Left behind items
The Chamberlin Ole Forest Inn will keep items left behind for 14 days from finding it before being donated or thrown away (dependent on the item), unless contacted by the guest for arrangements for return home. Guests are responsible for shipping fees if item requires shipping and will be charged to the card you have on file.

Age requirements
No one under the age of 21 may book or stay at the property unless accompanied by an adult.

Smoking
For the comfort and safety of our guests, smoking is permitted in designated areas outside only. No smoking is allowed on any area inside the property. Guests and those affiliated to our guests who are found to have smoked in their rooms are subject to a $400 cleaning fine, which will be billed to the card we have on file within 2 days of your departure.

Pets
Please be aware that there are house pets who roam around the property; a cat and a dog. They are both very friendly and are used to people coming and going. Guests are not permitted to bring pets, unless you can provide proof that your pet is a licensed therapy animal. Proof is required before your arrival so we can have it on file.

Wheelchair access
There is a ramp to access the restaurant on the main floor, but there is no wheelchair access to any of the rooms. All of the rooms are located on the second and third floor of the property.

Parking
Parking is free and reserved for guests staying at the Chamberlin Ole Forest Inn and for those dining at the restaurant. The property is also used for booking events and live music performances. Please note that parking is open to the public for these types of events.

Minimum and maximum night stay
There is no minimum night stay requirement for reserving rooms, however, we will occasionally have minimum stay requirements on holidays and special events. A maximum night stay is 15 nights. For our business travelers, we can extend your stay beyond the maximum night requirement if proof is provided by the company you are travelling for. Please inquire for more information and to receive written approval to extend the length of your stay.

Miscellaneous
There is a $25.00 charge for any returned checks.
